Aidan contributes to projects in organisational strategy, customer experience, culture and leadership across the education, health, financial services and energy sectors. He is a skilled facilitator, comfortable leading a team, and experienced engaging with stakeholders at all levels of seniority. Clients value his warm and engaging facilitation approach, commitment to data and keen appreciation of group dynamics.

Influential work

  • Project-managed the detailed design and implementation of a suite of reforms improving customer experience at a large metropolitan council; leading a team of subject matter experts, engaging senior stakeholders; and overseeing research and synthesis, solution design and communications and change planning
  • Contributed to the design of leadership framework and tools for a rapidly expanding financial services regulator, developed in co-design with senior leaders and business partners
  • Developed a culture framework to enable information sharing in the education, human services and family violence sectors.
  • Developed an inclusive culture workshop for the executive team of a sector-leading non-government organisation
  • Conducted an interim review of the Better Approvals Program for Small Business Victoria.

Outside of Nous

Prior to joining Nous, Aidan was a secondary school teacher at a large public school in Melbourne’s outer north, where he collaborated with colleagues to lead a range of school improvement initiatives while teaching philosophy, psychology and mathematics at the school’s senior campus. Prior to this Aidan was an honours student in psychology at Orygen, The National Centre of Excellence in Youth Health; where he wrote a research thesis investigating the characteristics, longitudinal course and predictive utility of a subset of electroencephalographic biomarkers in young people at high risk for developing psychosis.

Aidan holds a Graduate Diploma in Psychology and Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Psychology from the University of Melbourne. Prior to this he earned a Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Economics with majors in philosophy, economics and econometrics. Most recently Aidan earned a Master of Teaching from Deakin University. He is an alumnus of the Teach for Australia Leadership Development Program.

In his spare time...

Aidan enjoys the outdoors, staying active, reading, exploring Melbourne’s live music scene and cooking for his family and friends. He has never said no to a day at the beach.
