Calvin is a digital and customer experience consultant with nine years of experience across government, health, education, financial services, aviation and utilities, in Australia and Europe. Calvin has managed and contributed to large business transformations centred on building new digital business models and products, reimaging customer experiences and deployment of new technologies.

Influential work

  • Led the development of a patient experience framework for a state public health system to facilitate a consistent understanding and approach to improving patient experience across the system
  • Led a customer experience transformation at a government ICT provider, undertaking extensive customer research and collaboration to redefine the organisation’s value proposition, customer outcomes and customer experience
  • Provided strategic growth advice to a leading financial technology company by conducting a strategy market assessment, competitor analysis, and stakeholder and industry expert interviews to identify and prioritise strategic options in its target market
  • Worked with one of Australia’s largest wealth managers to design and deploy a digital wealth management platform that went on to win an international award
  • Led the digitisation of multiple lending products at a major Australian bank, delivering significant increases in customer acquisitions and savings in bad debt avoidance and operational cost savings.

Outside of Nous

Calvin has had a colourful career – he has been a paramedic and infantryman in the military, a technology consultant at an Australian Big Four bank, and a co-founder of an e-commerce company. He is currently an advisor and consultant to a handful of digital startups.

In his spare time...

Calvin can often be found riding or working on his Buell motorcycle. He also loves travelling, hiking and photography.
