Eleanor is an experienced consultant with expertise primarily in education and health and ageing. She has worked with UK universities on complex projects ranging from strategy development to course architecture design and customer journey mapping, and with public UK bodies to support the design and delivery of a national health education strategy. She is skilled in stakeholder engagement and combines strong interpersonal skills with an open-minded and pragmatic approach to problem-solving. Eleanor is an engaging communicator who tackles client projects with enthusiasm, curiosity and determination.

Influential work

  • Worked with a London university to map the student lifecycle and identify ways to improve the student experience and navigate the challenges arising from COVID-19 and the transition to remote learning
  • Advised a UK Russell Group university on alternative delegation structures for executive management to ensure the university will deliver on its vision and strategy
  • Supported the development of an internal communications strategy for a UK Russell Group university to improve staff and student engagement and better deliver on its strategic ambitions
  • Advised a UK university that was struggling with declining student numbers to redesign its undergraduate programme suite and architecture to create a more distinctive offer and reduce academic workload
  • Worked with a UK non-departmental public body to analyse the findings from broad stakeholder consultation on development of a national health education strategy.

Outside of Nous

Prior to joining Nous, Eleanor worked as a business analyst at Egon Zehnder, a global management consulting and executive search firm. She gained experience in management appraisal, leadership strategy and board consulting; primarily within the industrial, consumer goods and education sectors. In this role Eleanor worked closely with the boards and CEOs of some of the world’s leading organisations to find solutions to broad-ranging strategic and leadership challenges.

Eleanor holds a Master of Arts (Languages and Management) from the University of Cambridge.

In her spare time...

Eleanor loves to travel and run. She recently moved back to Australia after eight years in the UK and is looking forward to ocean swims and runs along Sydney’s beaches.
