Michele is a highly effective leader with a track record of success in senior corporate roles. She is also a storyteller, skilled in using creative approaches to expand influence and engage support. This combination of leadership and creative skills make Michele an impactful advisor and facilitator. As someone who has ‘been there’, Michele brings clarity and insight to her work with leaders and organisations working to help create the world in which we want to live.

Influential work

  • Led the development of a new strategy for the Office of Environment & Heritage NSW, engaging with ~500 staff and creating video materials for the launch
  • Worked with the front-line staff of an emergency services organisation to design a cultural narrative to support empowered leadership in challenging circumstances
  • Delivered innovative storytelling, video and strategic narrative workshops with public sector leaders and staff
  • With the Nous video team, produced and directed videos for major public service organisations, universities and peak bodies.

Outside of Nous

Before joining Nous, Michele was Head of Supply Chain for Oil Search, and prior to that a member of their field leadership team in the Southern Highlands of Papua New Guinea. Her prior experience includes international team leader roles with British Petroleum and Bechtel.

Michele holds master’s degrees in business and foreign affairs from Georgetown University, as well as a diploma in project management. Her creative qualifications include a certificate in content creation from the Australian Film Television and Radio School; a producer’s certificate from The University of California, Los Angeles; and a screenwriting certificate from the New York Film Academy.

In her spare time...

Michele enjoys hiking, travelling and adventure; and appreciates the diverse cultural offerings of Sydney.
