Nikita has spent 10 years advising public and private sector clients on strategy, organisational performance and leadership development. She brings extensive experience in large-scale operational transformations; particularly in health, government and infrastructure. Her transformation expertise includes operational strategy and design, implementation, capability-building, program governance and program office design. Nikita has held senior roles in professional services across different continents, in diverse sectors and a range of business sizes; and so offers her clients flexible and adaptable consulting expertise.

Influential work

  • Conducted an operational transformation of an aerospace manufacturer’s major service line, delivering a 30% aircraft build time reduction and a 20% quality increase
  • Redesigned a healthcare provider’s operating model; improving by 15% the turnaround time between procedures and the number of procedures performed, and increasing customer satisfaction
  • Redesigned a public organisation’s back office processes and performance management systems; resulting in a 30% quality improvement, 40% productivity increase and 20% staff turnover reduction
  • Designed and delivered a training program to build the capability of a leading beverage company’s 30 change agents to deploy a new way of operating across 70 international locations
  • Partnered with a not-for-profit organisation (NFP) to develop an innovative long-term strategy and alignment between the implementation plan and governance.

Outside of Nous

Before joining Nous, Nikita worked as a freelance operations consultant helping NFP clients deliver exceptional performance in remote Australian communities including in South Australia and central Queensland. Prior to that, she was an operations expert at McKinsey and Company in the UK, delivering on projects across Europe, America and Africa in a wide variety of sectors; including aerospace, healthcare, infrastructure, manufacturing and government services.

Nikita holds a PhD and Master of Science in Manufacturing Engineering from Loughborough University, UK; and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of West Indies, Trinidad and Tobago.

In her spare time...

Nikita enjoys travelling and any outdoor activity with her family; including running, swimming, tennis, netball and basketball.
