Prins leads Nous' Queensland office and advises senior executives on business and digital strategy, organisational design, public policy, change management and leadership. He demonstrates authentic leadership of high-performance teams, drawing on over 30 years’ experience as an executive leader balancing quality service delivery with commercial objectives and social outcomes. He puts vision, communication and practical evidence at the centre of strategy and project delivery; and equally advocates the customer, brand, values and organisational objectives. Prins also has over 31 years’ experience as a board director.

Influential work

  • Formulated and executed a three-year business plan to establish a fully-funded community-led service program for Napranum, in the gulf; facilitating generational change for Indigenous youth
  • Created an Aboriginal Torres Strait Islander Housing Action Plan following the release of a ten-year housing strategy for Queensland; including the implementation, policy delivery, engagement, capability, governance and structure
  • Conducted an organisational review that delivered a management structure matching a large local council’s current priorities and fiscal position, resulting in the development of a resourcing plan for consolidated structure
  • Co-designed a customer strategy using a rapid, human-centred approach with elements of fast strategy
  • Designed a digital customer experience strategy for a leading provider of fitness, youth recreation, childcare and community programs in Queensland.

Outside of Nous

Prins is a national leader in the delivery of human services; including education and employment services, disability employment services, vocational rehabilitation, aged care, child care, mental health and housing services. He led the redesign of numerous organisations, including eNTITY1/NXS Limited, Ingeus Limited, Employment Services Holdings Limited, Mission Australia and Advance Personnel Management. As an executive leader he balanced quality service delivery to commercial objectives and social outcomes. He facilitated numerous strategic planning processes for private listed and non-listed organisations, government and not-for-profit organisations (NFPs); including writing many strategic plans.

In his spare time...

Prins loves all things rugby and helping develop leadership capabilities for disadvantaged youth. He is an active administrator of secondary school sports in Australia.
