Sarah is an organisational performance expert. She has 15 years’ experience consulting to some of the world’s largest organisations in Australia and the US to improve their strategy, structure, culture, effectiveness and efficiency. She has led many complex transformational programs, and worked for diverse organisations including higher education, not-for-profit, utilities, government, telecommunications, financial services and software organisations. Her clients typically face large-scale disruption in their industries and require strategic advice on how to successfully and sustainably transform their organisations.

Influential work

  • Designed and delivered a large transformation program for a ‘Group of Eight’ university to improve the efficiency of all non-academic functions; delivering sustained savings of over $35m per annum without redundancies, and improving the staff and student experience
  • Analysed a major central government agency’s culture and developed its organisation-wide culture change program, improving service delivery and reducing costs by improving accountability
  • Took a financial services organisation from projected loss to a healthy return through a new target operating model and multi-year transformation plan
  • Developed a global culture change and leadership capability improvement program, which is being delivered to more than 5,000 leaders on almost every continent and has received a Workplace Excellence Award, for a large Australian mining company
  • Customised a change delivery approach for a state government, integrating seamlessly and building change capability across the public sector.

Outside of Nous

Before joining Nous, Sarah was a senior manager in PwC’s strategy practice. She has a Master of Business Administration (Professional) from Melbourne Business School and was awarded the Foundation Award of Distinction. She is also a board member of KAGE dance company.

In her spare time...

Sarah loves travel, the arts, politics, volunteering at KAGE, cycling and experiencing everything that the city of Melbourne has to offer. She has also shockingly developed a passion for running.
