Tim is an experienced business and digital project practitioner with a diverse background in health, insurance, business analysis and technology. He uses his diverse experience to develop evidenced-based approaches that are pragmatic and deliver effective business solutions. Tim has worked in the public and private sectors in Australia and the UK. His experience spans public health, personal injury insurance, liquor and gaming regulation, infringement regulation, social justice, activity-based working technologies and not-for-profit organisations.

Influential work

  • Led the development of a social justice initiative from proof-of-concept to a working prototype of a digital product using human-centred design and agile approaches
  • Led the analysis and implementation of workplace technologies for activity-based working for 6000 employees in a financial services company supporting the increased utilisation of commercial office space
  • Managed the business implementation of a $40M enterprise claims management system, replacing 19 distributed technologies for 800 users and reducing operational costs
  • Led a reduction in information technology expenditure by improving system performance, faster problem resolution and reducing resolution of low priority incidents by 70%
  • Led the development and implementation of sustainability initiatives for an owners’ corporation to reduce energy use by 40%.

Outside of Nous

Before joining Nous, Tim worked as an independent contractor on projects for state government departments, at a large financial institution, and held multiple roles at the Transport Accident Commission. He holds a Master of Business and Information Technology from The University of Melbourne, a Bachelor of Physiotherapy from La Trobe University, and is a Certified Scrum Product Owner.

Tim is an active member of his owners’ corporation committee and a former Secretary of Switchboard Victoria, where he volunteered for several years.

In his spare time...

Tim reads, enjoys podcasts, rides a bike, is surprisingly addicted to high-intensity training, brews beer, grows food on his apartment balcony, and enjoys socialising with family and friends.
