Alice has deep knowledge across a broad range of economic areas, from labour market economics to public sector theory. Combined with her sharp analytical skills, Alice’s economic training and thoughtful communication enable her to deliver tailored, evidence based solutions to meet clients’ needs. She is passionate about regional development, environmental sustainability and working to strengthen Australian communities.

Influential work

  • Managed a strategic review of an agricultural agency to advise the Board about its future position, in the face of significant changes to its operating environment
  • Worked with a team of leading economists to produce an economic study quantifying the impact of select universities on regional Australia
  • Worked on the team undertaking an independent review of the Australian Small Business and Family Enterprise Ombudsman
  • Re-designed the Rural Financial Counselling Services’ performance framework in close consultation with a working group comprising Departmental representatives and RFCS providers
  • Provided strategic advice to an Australian Disability Enterprise specialising in supporting people with severe cognitive disabilities, about how to diversify its service offerings as it transitions to the NDIS.

Outside of Nous

Prior to joining Nous, Alice worked for the Australian Departments of Infrastructure and Regional Development and Employment, as well as the Embassy of Timor-Leste.

Alice holds a Bachelor of Economics from The Australian National University.

In her spare time...

Passionate about nature and dressmaking, Alice spends her spare time designing clothing and bushwalking. She loves competing in rogaines all around the Australian Capital Territory and hopes to one day walk the Bicentennial National Trail.
