Amanda is a consultant with a strong focus on public policy, particularly relating to gender and social equality. She has a keen eye for detail and uses her research skills to deliver outputs that demonstrate thoughtful and considered analysis. Amanda has experience working on projects in the fields of health and education, bringing her strengths in quantitative data analysis and desktop research.

Influential work

  • Supported a ‘Group of Eight’ university to undertake a review of its sexual assault and harassment policies in student residence halls
  • Worked with a national health institute to deliver a program logic workshop for the development of a National Health Information Strategy
  • Supported a federal government department to determine its priorities for funding medical research
  • Supported a state education body to review its healthcare program at Australian Capital Territory schools
  • Worked with the Embassy of Nepal to deliver a research report examining the potential for Australian investment in Nepal’s hydro, wind and solar power.

Outside of Nous

Amanda has a background in international relations and previously worked with the Embassy of Nepal in Canberra. She holds a Bachelor of International and Global Studies from the University of Sydney and is currently undertaking a Master of Public Policy from The Australian National University.
