Brianna enjoys working with a range of stakeholders from the private, public and not-for-profit sectors to develop innovative and mutually beneficial solutions to issues of public importance. She brings experience in and enthusiasm for public policy development, particularly where it supports private sector and economic development. She has technical expertise in the agriculture sector and has applied this in federal government policy development and program evaluation in relation to trade and aid policy.

Influential work

  • Improved implementation of a high-profile economic diplomacy initiative between Australia and Indonesia, developing a framework to enhance strategic funding decisions and facilitating working groups of Australian and Indonesian private sector and government representatives to develop solutions to issues facing the cattle sector
  • Led the development of the operational guidance for the Environment Protection Policy for the Australian Aid Program
  • Supported the design of a $9M federal government-funded aid program in Indonesia‚Äôs cattle sector by providing technical and strategic advice
  • Supported the review of several federal government-funded aid programs, including fisheries assistance in the South Pacific and water and sanitation in Timor-Leste.

Outside of Nous

Brianna was previously a policy officer at the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and trade. She holds a Bachelor of Animal and Veterinary Bioscience (Honours) from The University of Sydney and is currently undertaking a Master of Rural Development from The University of Queensland. She is also an alumnus of the Australia Indonesia Leaders Program.

In her spare time...

Brianna loves to travel, particularly for new food experiences. When at home, she loves taking her dog to the beach, exploring the great outdoors and cooking for friends and family.
