Camilla is a senior consultant with particular skills in public policy. She has worked across a mixture of public policy and organisational change projects and has a strong background in human services and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander affairs. Camilla has a natural ability to cut through complex quantitative and qualitative data, and to communicate problems and solutions clearly and logically. She enjoys the challenge of developing bespoke and usable solutions for clients within the bounds of legislative and policy requirements.

Influential work

  • Reviewed the performance of five Native Title Representative Bodies for the Department of Prime Minister and Cabinet, including identifying individual and comparative efficiencies of each organisation’s operating model
  • Supported the Department of Family and Community Services (New South Wales [NSW]) to redesign its Futures Planning and Support, analysing the needs of children and young people in out-of-home care
  • Developed a National Mental Health and Suicide Prevention Monitoring and Reporting Framework for the National Mental Health Commission
  • Advised the Australian Capital Territory Government on how to improve access and disability support services for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, including working with Aboriginal-controlled and mainstream community organisations to improve their support services
  • Conducted consultations and surveys to inform the strategic planning process of one of Australia’s principal research and evaluation organisations.

Outside of Nous

Camilla holds a Master of International Security Law from Australian National University, during the study of which she was selected for the Geneva Program on International Organisations. She also holds a Bachelor of Criminology and Criminal Justice from University of NSW.
