Carly has experience working as an office manager for a start-up PropTech company, during which time she orchestrated two office moves and managed the transition of employees to working from home; before moving to a marketing role. She also continues to volunteer for various not-for-profit organisations.

Influential work

  • Managed the transition of PropTech to working-from-home, very quickly and in difficult circumstances
  • Created an online channel – including monthly cooking club, daily work-outs – to maintain company culture during COVID-19 lockdown
  • Was twice nominated for internal awards that demonstrated her positive impact on colleagues
  • Adapted quickly to an IT role, including providing IT support for eight months before an IT manager was hired
  • Through volunteer roles, supported vulnerable families to obtain optimal outcomes and receive tools they needed to make progress.

Outside of Nous

Carly supports Melanoma Focus and Kids Inspire through fundraising events like afternoon teas and raffles. She also supports LandAid, a charity to help end youth homelessness; including by recently completing a 50km fundraising walk.

Carly holds a Certificate in Psychodynamic Counselling (Foundational Level) and various certificates in identifying vulnerable children.

In her spare time...

Carly enjoy running and was training for a half marathon before COVID-19 intervened. She hopes to resume training soon.
