Cate is an experienced Executive & Project Assistant in the Canberra office and is a member of Nous’ Community Partnership Scheme Committee, which supports not-for-profit organisations to receive discounted consulting services. During her time at Nous Cate has worked on many projects involving complex stakeholder engagement and supported project teams with deliverables design and development.

Influential work

  • Created a survey for a large government agency, collating responses into a pulse check from thousands of staff to provide a current-state and past-years comparison
  • Worked closely with the client team on complex stakeholder engagement coordination with a federal government agency on a large internal workforce transformation project.
  • Supported multiple projects for Australian police departments, including projects related to senior officers’ leadership and development, and coordinated interstate consultations with senior stakeholders
  • Coordinated stakeholder consultations for 20 groups to assist the New South Wales (NSW) Ministry of Health develop the NSW Suicide Register and Data Linkage Scoping Report as a part of the Towards Zero Suicides initiative.

Outside of Nous

Cate has worked for 15 years in senior level executive support and coordination roles, including eight years in the health sector. She is currently completing a Master of Intelligence at Macquarie University online.

During her Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) at Federation University, Cate completed an internship where she built a model to forecast growth areas for the next 20 years in Victoria as input to potential university growth projections. Prior to joining Nous Cate lived in Ballarat, where she was a Country Fire Authority volunteer and member of the Lions Club.

In her spare time...

Cate writes and tests recipes and can often be found knitting. She is also a softball scorer during the summer months.
