Chandra uses her curiosity and analytical skills to discover and assess solutions for clients. She is interested in the intersection of users, technology and business to bring innovations to the public – particularly in education and healthcare. Chandra has cross-disciplinary experience in biomedical engineering, business, digital marketing and data analysis. She also has experience engaging people in the health, education and government sectors.

Influential work

  • Contributed to a business case to inform the international scholarship strategy of a Go8 university through analysing competitors, the international student journey and the university’s capabilities
  • Engaged government and business stakeholders and analysed data to review a $6M Victorian government business development strategy
  • Contributed to the innovation precinct strategy of a Victorian university via market research and analysis to pull out relevant insights to inform their strategy
  • Engaged stakeholders in the health sector through interviews and observational studies to discover gaps in hospitals, define needs of patients and clinicians and iteratively design a solution
  • Contributed to a developmental imaging research project at the Murdoch Children’s Research Institute, which involved using Python to analyse large datasets.

Outside of Nous

Chandra graduated with first-class honours from the University of Melbourne with a Master of Engineering. In her final year she worked with a multi-disciplinary team to discover problems in the healthcare system and design a solution.

Outside university, Chandra volunteered at Oaktree to create campaigns to reduce poverty. She took part in YLab Global’s workshop to create social impact in Melbourne’s northern suburbs. Chandra also has experience in digital marketing, data analysis and reporting.

In her spare time...

Chandra has lived in the US, India and Australia. She enjoys learning about different cultures and trying new cuisines, curling up with a good book and getting lost in new worlds.
