Chandra is a consultant with cross-disciplinary experience in strategy, digital and biomedical engineering. She has experience engaging people and delivering projects in the health, education, not-for-profit and public sectors. Chandra conducts research and engages with stakeholders with an open mind and draws on her analytical mindset to synthesise findings, pull out key insights and deliver practical recommendations.

Influential work

  • Worked as an embedded resource for a state health department to support rapid policy development, including developing policy positions and reviewing public communications
  • Developed and commenced implementation of a high-level workplan, procurement strategy and industry strategy for Victoria’s Cladding Rectification Program
  • Engaged 20+ public sector employees via workshops and interviews to develop and test a digital framework which outlined new digital processes, governance and roles for a state social insurer
  • Developed an information governance framework and translated the enterprise digital strategy for a presentation to the executive of a Victorian TAFE
  • Supported a two-day workshop with over 70 senior leaders to develop value statements and a culture change plan for the engineering faculty of a Go8 university.

Outside of Nous

Chandra graduated from the University of Melbourne with a Master of Engineering (first class honours). In her final year she worked with a multi-disciplinary team and used design thinking methods to discover gaps in the diagnosis of conditions, define patients’ and clinicians’ key needs and iteratively design solutions.

Outside university, Chandra volunteered at Oaktree and the National Stroke Foundation. She also took part in YLab Global’s workshop to create social impact in Melbourne’s northern suburbs. Chandra enjoys supporting the development of others and has tutored and mentored university students and tutored school students in mathematics and English.

In her spare time...

Having lived in the US, India and Australia, Chandra enjoys learning about different cultures, She enjoys developing new skills; including story-writing, digital art, game design and web development.
