Christina has experience in government, organisational performance, investigations and dispute resolution. She has led and implemented organisational review and improvement projects and was a senior advisor to the Victorian Ombudsman. A skilled facilitator, she creatively and strategically cuts through complex problems and collaboratively designs solutions. Clients and colleagues value her ability to quickly build trust and rapport and her pragmatic approach.

Influential work

  • Reviewed a small statutory authority to improve organisational performance to meet increased demand amid budget reduction
  • Designed and facilitated a planning retreat for an organisation’s senior leaders, resulting in a 10-year vision that guides planning and strategy
  • Built and managed a fee-for-service education function for the Victorian Ombudsman to build skills in the public sector on handling complaints and challenging behaviour
  • Managed restructures of corporate and operational areas to better align functions, people and culture with a government agency’s new strategic direction
  • Negotiated agreements to achieve change and improve outcomes for consumers of energy, water and government services in Victoria and the UK.

Outside of Nous

Before joining Nous, Christina worked for ombudsmen in Melbourne and London, investigating complaints about government services and energy providers to resolve disputes and identify systemic issues. She led corporate functions at the Victorian Ombudsman’s office, including people, learning, communications, education, strategy, governance and executive support.

Christina is passionate about fairness and helping people and communities to flourish. She is a mentor with Leadership Victoria and La Trobe University’s Career Ready Program, and the secretary on the committee of management for her local neighbourhood house.

Christina holds qualifications in law, arts and investigation.

In her spare time...

You can find Christina taking a class on practically anything, from poetry to tai chi to making her own bacon. She enjoys wandering through markets, nature and Melbourne’s laneways.
