Elaine is a consultant in the Sydney office and a structured and analytical problem solver. She has an academic background in economics and marketing, during which she received scholarships and awards for marketing. Elaine has experience in a leading fast-moving consumer goods company, where she was involved in a global brand’s marketing strategy and new product launch. She also brings strategy consulting experience, previously working with social enterprises. Elaine is passionate about delivering positive social impact.

Influential work

  • Reviewed and recommended changes to the organisational structure of a non-government organisation, resulting in improved retention rates of the client’s volunteer base
  • Developed a new digital optimisation and social media marketing strategy for a social enterprise, increasing online engagement by 200% over six months
  • Conducted market research for an online retailer, offering data-driven recommendations to refocus the client’s marketing and digital strategy based on best practices
  • Delivered quality brand messages for a global brand by designing and developing point-of- sales material like aisle fins, flyers and basket covers used in Woolworths’ stores across Australia.

Outside of Nous

Before joining Nous, Elaine was a marketing intern at Reckitt Benckiser in the Vanish NapiSan team. She helped the Vanish team deliver quality brand messages and a new product launch. She also volunteered with 180 Degrees Consulting, working with a team of other student consultants to deliver comprehensive medium-term business plans for two social enterprises.

Elaine holds a Bachelor of Commerce with a double major in economics and marketing from the University of Sydney. She was a business school peer mentor during university and also volunteered in the Sydney Children’s Hospital Randwick in the Ronald McDonald Family Room.

In her spare time...

Elaine enjoys travelling, watching movies and listening to podcasts. She is an avid reader who enjoys biographies and books about history and geopolitics.
