Georgia combines her experience in public policy with strong quantitative and qualitative research and analysis skills. She has a passion for the health and ageing sector, and for delivering evidence-based outcomes that meet users’ needs. Georgia has worked with federal and state governments on complex technical and public policy issues, and with member-based organisations to provide positive outcomes to the community.

Influential work

  • Contributed to the development of new public hospital funding arrangements, including the technical review of policy options
  • Re-designed the policy framework of an Australian Government agency, improving the clarity of complex methodologies and decision-making protocols for federal and state government users
  • Undertook an economic evaluation of new breast cancer screening technology at a Victorian BreastScreen site, including providing evidence for the new technology’s deployment
  • Evaluated the overseas membership program for a specialist training college, bringing insight to the user experience and developing a range of initiatives to improve engagement and learning
  • Developed an organisational performance framework for an Australian Government agency, including monitoring and evaluation.

Outside of Nous

Georgia has worked in global health and the federal government roles, most recently as a policy officer at the National Health Funding Body. She holds a Bachelor of Science (Psychology) from the University of Queensland and a Master of Public Health (Health Economics/Economic Evaluation) from The University of Melbourne.

In her spare time...

Georgia enjoys hiking and snowboarding, and sharing good food, wine and live music with friends. She is passionate about initiatives that promote health equity.
