Influential work

  • Developed the service-wide strategic plans for two of Victoria’s largest health services, both of which are informing service delivery for ~115,000 patients per year
  • Partnered with a NSW Local Health District (LHD) to design its District-wide approach to standardise and embed virtual health through an inaugural Virtual Health Strategy
  • Worked closely with the executives of four major metropolitan health services as part of the Connecting Care project, aimed at connecting all four services through one shared electronic medical record
  • Worked with a Victorian paediatric quaternary health service to transform the organisation’s culture, leading development of the program’s evaluation framework
  • Partnered with a Queensland community services organisation to implement organisation-wide practice governance, a critical client risk and missing element of its service delivery.

Outside of Nous...

Prior to joining Nous, Hilary held a management position at a renowned private nursing education company in Melbourne, working to develop and evaluate high quality nursing education and contribute to the broader field of nursing professional development in Australia. She has also worked as a clinical registered nurse at one of Victoria’s largest public trauma hospitals, as well as internationally in the UK’s National Health Service.

Hilary holds a Bachelor of Nursing from the Australian Catholic University and a Master of Education (Honours in educational management) from the University of Melbourne, for which she was awarded valedictorian for her cohort. She is currently the librarian and a committee member at the South Melbourne Symphony Orchestra, in which she also plays cello in their four public concerts a year.

In her spare time...

Hilary can be found on the Yarra River training as a competitive rower for Melbourne Rowing Club and chasing the accompanying beautiful sunrises.
