Jack combines extensive strategy and public policy expertise with a deep understanding of data analytics, evidence translation as well as evaluation and research methods.  He has experience across the public, private and non-for-profit sectors: this has included working in management consulting, in strategic policy in state government, and as communications director at a not-for-profit organisation. He also previously worked as a marketing and communications director at a not-for-profit organisation. He is enthusiastic about the power of analytics, evidence and co-design in developing practical and compelling solutions to complex problems.

Influential work

  • Found $10M of value by improving the customer experience in the call centre of an ASX50 energy company
  • Developed a public policy strategy to close the gender pay gap for the Victorian Government
  • Worked on a transformative whole-of-sector value-based healthcare reform strategy spanning data collection and reporting, culture and capability, payments and incentives
  • Formulated marketing and communications strategy for a new NFP that aims to promote gender literacy in schools, and led a team to successfully implementing the strategy and reach over 1000 students across Victoria and the Northern Territory
  • Evaluated the effectiveness of a public health intervention aimed at promoting safe sex.

Outside of Nous

Before joining Nous, Jack held various strategic social policy roles in the Victorian Government; including in the Department of Health and Human Services, the Department of Education and Training and the Department of Premier and Cabinet. He was also the marketing and communications director at Chalk Circle – The Gender Literacy Foundation. Prior to this, he held a management consulting position at McKinsey & Company and completed internships at the Grattan Institute and the Parliament of Victoria.

Jack hold a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) with majors in Political Science and Spanish from The University of Melbourne and is completing a Master of Applied Statistics at Swinburne University of Technology.

In his spare time...

Jack enjoys dancing – particularly hip hop and reggaeton. He competes in international dance competitions and is a national champion. He loves travelling and learning human and programming languages.
