Jacqui is an experienced public health practitioner and project manager with over 17 years’ experience leading projects and teams to improve organisations’ performance. She has extensive experience in stakeholder engagement, collaboration and project management facilitation in areas spanning acute to primary care and prevention. Jacqui has developed, implemented and evaluated projects and programs in areas including integrated health care, general practice in rural communities, refugee health, Aboriginal health and chronic disease.

Influential work

  • Supported four organisations on a collective impact model that implemented redesign activities across the acute and primary care interface, including leading the development and implementation of several cross-organisational projects and initiatives
  • Led the development of the first Aboriginal health strategy for a major health service, including extensive community and organisational engagement
  • Completed a research fellowship to evaluate a national general practitioner program delivered in rural areas
  • Led the establishment of a refugee clinic
  • Led a team responsible for designing, implementing and evaluating a national program to assist patients and their carers experiencing chronic disease.

Outside of Nous

Jacqui has worked in a range of healthcare settings; including hospitals, such as The Royal Melbourne hospital; community health; and not-for-profit organisations, including the Royal Flying Doctor Service and National Stroke Foundation. Most recently she held a leadership role based at a Primary Health Network, supporting a collaborative partnership across four organisations in the acute, primary and community care settings.

Jacqui is a Prince2 practitioner and has undertaken additional study in evaluation and engagement.She holds a Master of Public Health and Bachelors of Commerce and Arts from Deakin University. She completed a one-year research fellowship at The University of Melbourne and is currently completing a Master of Urban Planning at that university. Jacqui also sits on the board of a community music-based organisation.

In her spare time...

Jacqui spends her spare time learning musical instruments and plays an active role in building a supportive musical community. Other passions include bushwalking, travelling, gardening and reading.
