Jake is a registered psychologist with a passion for evidence-based practice. He is accredited and experienced in various psychological assessment techniques, including Hogan, Saville, Motiva and behavioural interviewing. He has experience in organisational performance, culture, and leadership, having previously worked at Deloitte, Hatch and Voice Project while completing placements at Atlassian and We Are Unity. He has completed two dissertations, one on the human factors of cyber security and another on the antecedents of work engagement and innovative behaviour.

Influential Work

  • Supported a high-profile, organisation-wide and holistic culture review of a large ASX-listed entertainment and gaming company, including assessing alignment with strategic, risk and conduct objectives
  • Contributed to the development of a risk culture self-assessment and development tool for an Australian oil and gas company
  • Supported the culture review of a large New Zealand bank to align the organisational culture with the bank’s strategic objectives
  • Interviewed stakeholders on the assessment against performance metrics of an Australian Government agency
  • Contributed to the design and development of a risk culture survey for a large professional services company to be distributed across the Asia-Pacific region.

Outside of Nous

Prior to joining Nous, Jake was employed by Deloitte, Hatch and Voice Project and completed a number of placements including at Atlassian and We Are Unity. He has spent two years working in London and led a project team of researchers in India. He is a registered psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Agency and a Member of the Australian Psychological Society (MAPS). Jake is accredited in various psychometric instruments, including the Hogan Suite, Saville Assessments, and Motiva Individual 2.

Jake holds a Master of Organisational Psychology from Macquarie University and a Bachelor of Psychology (Honours) from The University of Wollongong.

In his spare time...

Jake enjoys visiting galleries going to see the orchestra and theatre. He loves to travel, having previously lived in the UK and India. Jake also enjoys reading, gardening and watching films.
