Jonathan has significant experience across the education, health and disability sectors, with particular expertise in robotics and assistive technology. This cross-sector experience gives him a unique understanding of the future of work and the changing demands for 21st century skills. His past projects demonstrate a unique ability to understand client and user needs and apply technology in the design of innovative, human-centred solutions.

Influential work

  • Conducted business-to-business (B2B) market research for a large member-based organisation and advised on their digital product and service offerings
  • Worked with a large Australian bank and a multi-national real estate company to explore customer service applications with humanoid robots
  • Partnered with the Telstra Foundation to deliver robotics and coding outreach programs in regional libraries across Australia
  • Participated in a team that were finalists in the National Disability Awards for ‘excellence in technology’ for a university-industry collaboration utilising humanoid robots in paediatric rehabilitation at The Royal Children’s Hospital
  • Received a Transport Accident Commission (TAC) Small Grant to develop and trial assistive technologies to reduce attended care hours for TAC clients.

Outside of Nous

Before joining Nous, Jonathan was the marketing manager for an innovative education and assistive technology company. In this role he developed and marketed innovative products and outreach programs including the ‘Everybody Dance NAO’ programming competition in Melbourne and Sydney.

Jonathan holds an Executive Master of Arts from The University of Melbourne and a Bachelor of Management (Marketing) from Deakin University, and is currently completing a Graduate Diploma in Economics from The London School of Economics.


In his spare time...

Jonathan is likely found surfing along the Great Ocean Road or cooking in the kitchen. He is passionate about sustainable food and has a keen interest in the future of work.
