Influential work

  • Supported the development of a social investment strategy in education for a large mining company, including a recommended three-year investment to systematise collaboration between industry, government and the education technology industry. This has involved designing an optimal strategy to deliver this program based on research and stakeholder consultations, and identifying critical implementation considerations.
  • Conducted a Social Return on Investment Analysis for the Djalkiri Foundation Aboriginal Corporation from the first three years of investment in its programs. This project involved significant research, quantitative analysis and stakeholder consultations.
  • Supported an Australian university to develop a fit-for-purpose integrated planning framework that connected the university’s strategic planning with all operational planning activities.

Outside of Nous

During his university studies, Joseph completed vacation programs at RSM with the Corporate Finance team and at PwC in the Assurance team. He volunteered as a Consultant at Curtin Consulting Group, analysing the revenue strategy for a mid-sized not-for-profit organisation before joining the executive committee as Treasurer. He has also volunteered at Teach Learn Grow, with a keen interest in bridging the education gap that exists for rural and remote schools.

Joseph holds a Bachelor of Commerce majoring in Economics and Finance from Curtin University.
