Julia is a dynamic management consultant and learning architect who is able to interpret capability development needs in the context of the business environment, culture and strategy. She combines this with best-practice and cutting-edge learning approaches to deliver engaging learning solutions with real business impact that are project managed with pragmatism. A highly experienced professional, she has worked with both public and private sectors; especially in the health, higher education, resources, retail, telecommunications, finance and professional services industries.

Influential work

  • Helped a social insurer identify cultural shifts required to achieve its 2020 vision and supported implementation through a leader-led approach
  • Used design thinking to help a Queensland regional hospital network resolve bullying and harassment issues by helping staff and leaders work better together and promote a culture of respect and accountability
  • Designed and supported the delivery of a forward-looking strategic summit to help an energy sector giant shape its strategy for a complex and changing environment, including supporting leaders to test and refine their strategic plan in line with the changing consumer and regulatory landscape
  • Co-designed a discovery framework with a major university to help it develop custom programs for its clients, then helped coach and embed a client-centric approach to program design.

Outside of Nous

Prior to joining Nous, Julia worked with Melbourne Business School to design, project manage and deliver custom client leadership programs, from emerging leaders through to executive level. She also project managed the re-alignment of their open program portfolio of programs.

Julia also worked at Australia Post, where she received a number of industry awards for designing cutting edge enterprise-wide learning interventions. She also has extensive experience in working in finance, having spent seven years at ANZ in operational and learning roles.

Julia holds a Graduate Diploma of Education and a qualification in Leading Organisational Change from The University of Melbourne, a Bachelor of Behavioural Neuroscience from Monash University, and Certificate IVs in Training and Assessment and Project Management.
