Kelvin has experience in management consulting and engineering consulting, having worked with both private and public sector clients. He is graduating with degrees in engineering and commerce from the University of New South Wales, where his leadership roles across UNSW Investing for Charity, 180 Degrees Consulting and Enactus nurtured his passion for philanthropy. His honours thesis addressed efficiency improvements to supply chain management for medical devices.

Influential work

  • Facilitated implementation of an SaaS technology solution for a big four retail bank to streamline critical third-party risk management processes
  • Accelerated delivery of a multimillion-dollar infrastructure project by developing a streamlined procurement strategy for a government-owned port authority
  • Delivered a revenue growth strategy for an aeromedical charity, enabling it to expand its domestic operations and maximise utilisation of its assets
  • Raised a foundation for ill children’s Net Promoter Score by delivering a framework to improve corporate sponsor engagement and retention
  • Expanded a philanthropic finance student society’s reach by 500 students by driving virtual content delivery through professional development webinars and interactive online events.

Outside of Nous

Previously Kelvin worked at a big four professional services firm in its strategy and operations consulting team, as well as at a boutique engineering consulting firm and a B2B marketing start-up. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) and a Bachelor of Finance from the University of New South Wales and studied abroad at Michigan State University. Through student societies including UNSW I4C, 180 Degrees Consulting and Enactus, Kelvin has worked extensively on projects with not-for-profits and charities.

In his spare time...

Kelvin loves all physical activity, especially basketball, and plays recreational team sports to keep fit. He enjoys travelling to lesser-known places, learning languages and meditation. Kelvin also DJs online when time permits.
