Lea is passionate about people and their performance. She works with organisations to build development programs that deliver measurable benefit at the individual and organisational level. She is expert in leadership program design and facilitation, performance coaching senior executives, employee engagement and performance management. Lea has senior management experience and over 22 years’ experience in delivering highly effective leadership development programs across the insurance, financial services, professional services, human services, immigration, education, energy and defence sectors.

Influential work

  • Facilitated coaching and mentoring workshops and conducted post-workshop coaching for senior executives leading to improved organisational outcomes
  • Designed and facilitated over 60 leadership and management development programs for senior executives for a wide range of organisations across Australia
  • Coached individual executives, senior leaders and managers in leading private sector organisations and federal and state government central agencies
  • Provided one-on-one debriefs for diagnostic tools and coached participants to understand how to refocus their leadership style, approach and behaviour towards even better performance
  • Undertook diagnostic work, including providing organisational insights (based on qualitative and quantitative data) to highlight the areas the organisation must address to lift performance
  • Designed and facilitated interactive workshops and conferences to focus on strategy and identify what individuals must do to improve performance.

Outside of Nous

Prior to joining Nous, Lea was a director at The Royal Victorian Institute for the Blind, running a state‑wide service providing services to a diverse and complex range of blind and visually impaired children and adults. She has postgraduate qualifications in special education and is currently completing a Master of Business Administration at Deakin University.

Lea is accredited in a range of diagnostics including GENOS Emotional Intelligence tool and coaching process, Myers Briggs Type Indicator (Expanded Interpretive Report) tool, Belbin Team Roles Questionnaire, Organisational Effectiveness Profile and Human Synergistics tools (Life Styles Inventory and the Leadership Impact tool).
