Lisa specialises in the design and development of leadership and talent solutions that enable leaders to have true impact on their people and organisations. She has a PhD in organisational psychology with a focus on leadership, developmental experiences, diversity and inclusion. She is also an experienced practitioner at competency modelling, training design and evaluation, change management and organisational diagnostics. Lisa has authored several publications and presentations for professional journals, books and conferences on topics including leadership development, cross-cultural competence and diversity and inclusion.

Influential work

  • Managed the organisation design of an Australian credit union to ensure it was optimally designed to achieve the organisation’s strategic objectives of innovation and growth
  • Led the development of an executive transition program to create an individualised experience to accelerate the leader’s ability to maximise their contribution
  • Managed the development of a large-scale, experiential leadership development program for mid and senior leaders to drive cultural transformation
  • Led the development of a leading change program to equip people leaders with the practical skills and behaviours required to lead their teams through change
  • Change managed an organisation-wide process review and implementation program; which included developing a change and communications strategy, stakeholder engagement plan, impact analysis and governance structure.

Outside of Nous

Prior to joining Nous, Lisa spent several years consulting with Deloitte in Australia and Booz Allen Hamilton in the US. She also worked as a research fellow in the Leader Development Research Unit at the US Army Research Institute in Washington, DC, where she focused on improving leader adaptability and investigating the core elements of cross‑cultural competence that enable leaders to be more effective when working in a global environment.

Lisa holds a PhD and Master of Arts in Industrial-Organisational Psychology from George Mason University, US; and a Bachelor of Arts (Psychology) from the University of Washington, US. She is certified in Hogan Assessment Systems (HPI, HDS and MVPI), Benchmarks®, 360 BY DESIGN®, Executive Dimensions,® Prospector®, Baron EQ-i, EQ-i 2.0 and EQ-i 360 (Emotional Quotient Inventory) and Change Style Indicator.

In her spare time...

Lisa grew up in a military family and moved every few years. Her adventurous lifestyle, including traversing 11 major global locations, has inspired a passion for travel and food.
