Megan is a creative problem-solver with experience in strategy, planning and review and evaluation. She has worked for a range of clients across the private and not-for-profit sectors; and for all levels of government, including industry regulators and international and regional organisations such as the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation.

Influential work

  • Developed an innovative approach to mapping military skills to the New South Wales (NSW) Public Sector Capability Framework for the 2016 Veterans Employment Program
  • Supported the operational review of the Australian offshore petroleum safety and environment regulator; reporting directly to the minister of the Department of Industry, Innovation and Science
  • On behalf of the Australian Government Department of Infrastructure and Regional Development, co-facilitated an Asia-Pacific Economic Workshop to understand the social impacts of investment in transport infrastructure projects to empower women
  • Developed an agency-wide approach for the NSW Department of Primary Industries to develop consistent, logic-based business cases of the programs
  • Worked with the executive leadership team of a migrant resettlement service provider to develop a new strategic plan.

Outside of Nous...

Before joining Nous, Megan was an environment, health and safety consultant at Environmental Resources Management. Here, she was part of the Global Inclusion Advisory Committee advising the executive leadership team on how to build a more inclusive culture within the organisation. Prior to this she was a management consultant at the Noetic Group, providing strategy, planning, evaluation, strategy and risk management advice to government and private sector clients within the resources, environment, education, not-for-profit, aviation and public transport sectors and migrant services organisations.

Megan holds a Bachelor of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering (Honours) and a Bachelor of Science (environment).

In her spare time...

On the weekend Megan enjoys exploring new bars, cafes and restaurants in Sydney. She also enjoys playing netball, travelling and learning Spanish.
