Michael has extensive experience leading projects, conducting research, delivering presentations and providing exemplary internal and external client and customer service. In both consulting and in academia, where he completed a PhD and a postdoctoral fellowship, Michael has managed projects from design to completion and produced compelling reports and briefs to influence policy.
Michael served as an instructor of American history at the California Institute of Technology (Caltech) and University of Toronto, focusing extensively on civil rights, politics, labor and urban history. Having worked extensively in higher education, he transitioned into consulting, working with dozens of Canadian postsecondary institutions on projects ranging from strategic internationalization to crisis response planning.
Michael holds a PhD from the University of Toronto and Master and Bachelor of Arts from the University of Calgary.
