Nick is a results-driven consultant with experience in business strategy, organisational transformation and leadership capability development. He has worked with public and private sector clients across Australia, including in regional areas of Western Australia (WA). Nick’s strong communication and leadership skills allow him to engage stakeholders and obtain a clear understanding of clients’ needs, then deliver tailored results.

Influential work

  • Undertook a series of national consultations to inform the design Australia’s new model of employment services that reflects the challenges of disruption to the labour market and the potential to leverage technology to improve service delivery
  • Supported a WA university undergo a large organisational transformation, including functional efficiency analysis and extensive co-design with academic and professional staff to improve critical business processes
  • Developed an organisational growth strategy for an Australian not-for-profit disability service provider to prepare for changes to the funding environment
  • Developed the commercialisation strategy, investment business case and strategic growth plan for a private US-based video streaming organisation looking to scale their business
  • Worked with a recently amalgamated government department to develop the leadership and change capability of regional leaders.

Outside of Nous

Prior to joining Nous, Nick worked as a project engineer on a chemical process plant. Throughout his final year at university Nick worked with researchers at The University of Western Australia (UWA), Harvard Medical School and Boston Children’s Hospital to improve the feasibility of the surgical treatment of epilepsy through new brain modelling techniques.

Nick holds a Master of Professional Engineering (Mechanical) and a Bachelor of Commerce (finance and engineering science) from UWA.
