Prins advises senior executives on business strategy, organisational design, public policy, change management, digital strategy and leadership development. He spent 13 years in senior roles in education and training as a chief information officer and director of information and management services; 10 as a national partner at Clayton Utz and Gadens Lawyers; and 10 in chief executive roles with multi-national organisations including Employment Services Holdings, Mission Australia and APM. Prins has worked across the employment, education, health, human services, technology, mining, building and construction and financial services sectors; and has over 30 years’ experience as a board director.

Influential work

  • Assisted in formulating a national policy reform agenda improving access, participation and completion of training for people suffering disadvantage, including Indigenous Australians
  • Conceived an integrated service delivery model for community services and welfare to work services; leading the successful amalgamation of four businesses into a unified organisation serving Australians in need
  • Established changes in service culture and systems during major government policy changes; reducing cost, increasing staff morale and performance by 130%, and trebling the people served, thereby increasing revenues
  • Advised a national not-for-profit organisation on strategic responses to enable growth and improved client outcomes under customer-centred reforms in government procurement arrangements
  • Partnered with the executive team of one of Australia largest aged care providers in the redesign and implementation of a new operating model.

Outside of Nous

Prins is a national leader in the delivery of human services; including education and employment services, disability employment services, vocational rehabilitation, aged care, child care, mental health and housing services. He led the redesign of numerous organisations, including eNTITY1/NXS Limited, Ingeus Limited, Employment Services Holdings Limited, Mission Australia and Advance Personnel Management. As an executive leader he balanced quality service delivery to commercial objectives and social outcomes. He facilitated numerous strategic planning processes for private listed and non-listed organisations, government and NFPs; including writing many strategic plans.

In his spare time...

Prins loves all things rugby, and is preparing to trek the Kokoda trail to help develop leadership capabilities for disadvantaged youth.
