Rachel is an experienced organisational development practitioner, with consulting skills honed over 18 years. She is an accomplished project manager, coach, designer and facilitator, and her advice is valued by clients across a broad range of sectors. Rachel is known for her candour, clarity of thought and whole-heartedness. She is committed to enabling individual and organisational performance.

Influential work

  • Partnered with a large municipal council to design the roll-out of an organisation-wide ‘refresh’ of values and behaviours
  • Co-led an innovative ‘learning-by-doing’ organisational redesign project in a state government department to enable it to better achieve its purpose
  • Supported the design and implementation of the learning and development strategy and system for an organisation with a year-long presence in Antarctica through coaching and business advice
  • Developed a personal and organisational resilience framework and embedded the framework, individual self-assessment and associated strategies into longitudinal program proven to increase resilience practices of leaders
  • Designed and implemented a talent development programme across executive, middle manager and team leader audiences in a private health insurance organisation.

Outside of Nous

As well as holding internal advisory and management roles in IT&T, Rachel has worked in consulting organisations in Sydney, Melbourne and Newcastle, advising clients across Australia and New Zealand.

Rachel holds a Diploma of Neuroscience of Leadership and a Master of Business Administration from Macquarie Graduate School of Management, and a Bachelor of Arts from The Australian National University). She has level two coaching accreditation from the Institute of Executive Coaching and Leadership and is a certified career path appreciation practitioner (BIOSS). Rachel is also accredited in the use of the Centre for Creative Leadership’s 360° suite, DiSC® behavioural model and Saville & Holdsworth’s occupational testing and personality instruments (including OPQ and MQ). She holds a Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment.

In her spare time...

Rachel enjoys hiking, climbing, camping, cycling, swimming, sky diving, skiing, kayaking; and enjoying the arts, culture, sports, food and people of Melbourne.
