Bec has strong analytical skills and thrives on challenges. She is an excellent communicator who engages in a clear and constructive manner. Her experience is primarily with federal government, but she has also worked with not-for-profit organisations.

Influential work

  • Designed a new people capability framework, focused on leadership capabilities, for the Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS)
  • Developed communication artefacts describing the ABS’ future characteristics as part of its multi-year transformation program
  • Managed a scoping study for a whole-of-government approach to procurement; including journey-mapping the process and analysing price variance under the current approach to identify potential savings
  • Co-designed a performance framework for an Australian-wide government initiative; involving developing performance metrics, measurement criteria and guidance materials to assist in the framework’s roll-out
  • Currently working with the National Disability Insurance Agency to improve service delivery of School Leaver Employment Supports.

Outside of Nous

Bec holds bachelors of laws and business administration, both with first class honours, from The Australian National University (ANU). During her time at ANU she was awarded the Bailey Prize for Human Rights Law, and the Future Leaders Award.

Prior to joining Nous, Bec was a research intern at ANU.

In her spare time...

Bec loves coffee, games, puzzles and books. On weekends you’ll find her at The Canberra Theatre, working her way through an Escape Room, or jogging around the lake.
