Prior to joining Nous, Simone worked at the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade in Canberra and Manila. Before that, she held health-related roles in Canada and Kenya in the areas of women’s health and infectious diseases. She has also undertaken research on health issues faced by Aboriginal populations in Australia and Canada.
Simone has a Masters in International Public Health from The University of Sydney and a Bachelor of Biomedical Science from The University of Queensland. She has also studied at Queen’s University in Canada.
Simone enjoys travelling to visit family in sunny Queensland and friends further abroad, and keeps active by running, swimming and horse riding.
