Simonne is an experienced management consultant who has successfully led and managed a range of large, complex strategy and review projects for clients across the public and private sectors for over seven years. Simonne has rigorous analytical skills, manages challenging stakeholder environments with confidence and is adept at translating complex ideas into practical insights.

Influential work

  • Led a review stream for the Functional and Efficiency Review of the Department of Prime Minister and Cabinet that examined efficiency and reform opportunities from a first-principles basis, developing an implementation plan to realise identified opportunities
  • Led the development of a detailed operating model for the implementation of Specialist Family Violence Courts across five headquarter Magistrates’ Courts of Victoria sites
  • Managed and worked closely with the vice-chancellor, executive and council of a leading university to identify a new strategic direction underpinned by extensive data analysis
  • Developed a transformation strategy in partnership with staff from an Australian Government agency
  • Led a large-scale review to transform student services for a leading Victorian university, including extensive engagement with senior university stakeholders.

Outside of Nous

Prior to joining Nous Group, Simonne worked for over three years as a senior ministerial adviser for the former Victorian minister for education, skills and workforce participation; Bronwyn Pike MP. Simonne was responsible for providing advice on the government school education and higher education portfolios. Simonne began her career in the Victorian Public Service, where she worked in the strategy unit of the Department of Education and the social policy team of the Department of Premier and Cabinet. She holds a Master of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) from The University of Melbourne.
