Tom is an experienced managing director, digital director, client partner and people leader. He has 17 years' experience in innovation, design, technology, business and marketing and has worked with leading brands across Australia and Europe to deliver revenue and brand growth.

Influential work

  • Grew European digital consultancy Futurice in the UK from 10 to 25 people in three years and won digital product development, innovation and change work with clients including Ford, Tesco and Guardian
  • Led engagement with a Dutch credit insurance firm to create its first non-core digital product – a data service to help clients gain insight into new opportunities for trade
  • Partnered with a British ethical cosmetics company to reimagine its online experience. Online sales doubled in the first week post launch and a new small-batch manufacturing service was subsequently created
  • Managed marketing and media services at internet service provider Internode, launching its first above-the-line campaign, redesigning online sign-up flow and monetising its games website
  • Delivered digital product and marketing projects for organisations including Audi, Mazda, Rolls Royce, Royal Bank of Scotland and Sainsbury’s.

Outside of Nous

Tom worked in London for ten years with some of the world’s leading digital design and innovation firms, leading projects, relationships and business development. He has also managed marketing and media services at South Australian ISP Internode, and advised various early-stage businesses on positioning, strategy and business development.

Tom holds a Master of Business Administration (technology management) from LaTrobe University, a Bachelor of Computer and Information Science from University of South Australia, and an Advanced Diploma of Project Management. He is also a certified ScrumMaster and served on the committee of the Australian Interactive Media Industry Association.

In his spare time...

Tom’s spare time is usually spent co-raising his twin 2.5 year-old boys, spending time with friends, and keeping up-to-date with digital, design and technology. He is happy to be home in Australia.
