Trent is a consultant and psychologist with extensive experience in delivering data analytics, evaluations, research, and strategy services to public and private sector clients. Trent possesses significant expertise in quantitative and qualitative analysis, and complements his technical skills with a demonstrated ability to identify his audience’s needs and communicate complex findings in a digestible manner. Trent also brings substantial knowledge of and interest in technology as a result of his diverse experience.

Influential work

  • Conducted data analytics to identify trends between schools’ demographic characteristics and Indigenous boarding students’ educational and financial outcomes
  • Delivered an organisational culture review for a private health fund, identifying performance improvement areas in workforce planning, leadership, and policy
  • Contributed to an advanced manufacturing and robotics hub feasibility study for a major Queensland university, involving substantial market and competitor research and stakeholder engagement
  • Delivered vocational education and training market analysis reports to the Queensland Government, highlighting longitudinal trends for specific subsidised qualifications
  • Conducted international benchmarking analyses and statistical evaluations of organisations operating in safety-critical industries
  • Conducted focus groups and thematic analysis for an evaluation of the Highly Accomplished Teacher and Lead Teacher Pilot for the Queensland Department of Education.

Outside of Nous

Prior to joining Nous, Trent was an associate at Grant Thornton Consulting, and prior that a vacationer in the Public Sector Advisory team at Grant Thornton. Trent also completed professional placements at Boeing Defence Australia and Boeing Research & Technology, Queensland Police Service, and a boutique management consultancy in Brisbane.

Trent is a registered psychologist and holds a Master of Organisational Psychology and Bachelor of Psychological Science. While completing these programs Trent held several lead researcher roles, including performing statistical work for the Australian Army, Griffith University, and a Brisbane-based counselling service. Trent is also a published author in an international journal.

In his spare time...

Trent enjoys working on his shred guitar abilities in his home studio, watching mixed martial arts, playing golf, and training at gym.
