Tycho is a deep thinker with strong capabilities in both quantitative and qualitative analysis. He combines these talents with a succinct communication style to deliver key insights and project outcomes. Tycho has experience in higher and vocational education, health and social care projects.

Influential work

  • Reviewed and re-designed the course architecture of a modern English university
  • Analysed and summarised over 300 public submissions on the future direction of a research funding body
  • Helped an Australian university develop an infrastructure grant application to the Australian Government
  • Developed a strategic options paper for a leading Australian women’s not-for profit organisation.

Outside of Nous

Prior to his time at Nous, Tycho worked at the Victorian Department of Education and Training, where he researched vocational education approaches around the world. At both University of Oxford and University of Melbourne Tycho undertook leadership roles through which he worked to strengthen the student community. He holds a Bachelor of Arts (jurisprudence) from The University of Oxford and a Bachelor of Arts (philosophy and economics) from The University of Melbourne.

In his spare time...

Tycho is a keen snowboarder who in the Australian University Games. In warmer climates, he enjoys running, cycling and surfing. Tycho also enjoys theatre and stand-up comedy.
