Vi-An has a range of experience in organisational performance in both the private and public sectors. Within private organisations, she supported leadership development and business transformation projects. In the public sector, she has completed projects ranging from culture change and onboarding to volume recruitment. Her research experience includes completing an honours thesis exploring the effects of conflicting demands between work, school and family on burnout and performance. Vi-An is also accredited in psychometric assessments, including the Saville WAVE Professional Styles test.

Influential work

  • Delivered extensive leadership development workshops to upskill and prepare the leadership pipeline for operational leaders at a large energy and resources multinational organisation
  • Implemented change management activities and supported the development of change strategy for business transformation for an Australian retail manufacturing organisation
  • Conducted internal culture change projects at a large public health service organisation that supported the wider adoption of new behaviours, pledges and ways of working
  • Conducted organisational development initiatives, including engagement surveys and an onboarding procedure at a large public health service organisation
  • Led a team of human resources consultants and developed recruitment strategy for volunteer mentors for CHASE, a community not-for-profit organisation (NFP) that aims to engage Victorian Certificate of Applied Learning students in Melbourne’s western and northern suburbs.

Outside of Nous

Prior to working as a consultant at Nous, Vi-An gained experience in Human Capital Consulting at Deloitte and in internal organisational development in the healthcare sector. She has also held roles in volume recruitment in the Victorian Department of Justice and Regulation and as a helpline volunteer for the Anxiety Recovery Centre Victoria. She was previously involved with a community NFP (CHASE), which aims to improve health literacy among disadvantaged students in Melbourne’s western and northern suburbs. Vi-An has also worked as a research assistant alongside some of Swinburne’s academics in the psychology and management space.

Vi-An holds a Bachelor of Psychology (Honours) and a Bachelor of Science from Swinburne University of Technology and is currently completing a Master of Psychology (Organisational) at Deakin University.

In her spare time...

Vi-An loves to explore the Melbourne’s dessert scene, promote yoga and pilates as well-being activities and explore books and podcasts on sociology and human nature.
