Influential work

  • Delivered a process optimisation strategy for one of Queensland’s largest municipal wastewater treatment plants targeting reduced operational costs
  • Implemented the automation of a bespoke semiconductor manufacturing system that reduced worker fatigue and improved safety, reliability and production throughput
  • Developed a digital tool for chemical inventory tracking across a network of wastewater treatment plants in south-east Queensland
  • Used a human-centered design approach to develop a business case for coffee tourism in a remote community in Nepal.

Outside of Nous

Vincent previously worked on developing advanced semiconductor manufacturing technologies for an award-winning Australian clean technology company. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Chemical, Honours) and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Queensland. While studying, he gained experience as a process engineer at Queensland Urban Utilities, a large water utility in Brisbane; and interned in the mechanical and medical devices patent team at Davies Collison Cave, a leading intellectual property law firm. After graduating, Vincent travelled to Nepal with Engineers Without Borders on a humanitarian engineering design summit to learn how appropriate technology and human centered design can benefit developing communities.

In his spare time...

Vincent loves travelling to new places and immersing himself in different cultures.  You may also find Vincent rock climbing, exploring nature and reluctantly running to stay fit.
