Yoshiki is a consultant with a quantitative mindset and a passion for business strategy. Clients have valued the thorough analytical approach and the attention to detail this brings, in addition to his approachability and outgoing personality. Yoshiki has worked on projects for local and multinational private sector clients with a focus on Australia, China and the US across the industries of education, health, retail and not-for-profit.

Influential work

  • Worked with a Victorian university to determine strategic investment opportunities in the Victorian vocational education and training (VET) market by quantifying expected job market trends and revenue forecasting through use of enrolment, population, VET and higher education data
  • Analysed the efficiency and effectiveness of a government grant against its policy objectives through a triangulation of findings from literature, data and stakeholder consultations
  • Assisted the development of a China market entry strategy for a global top-five pharmaceutical company, identifying the viability of various market entry channels and researching current macro and microeconomic trends.

Outside of Nous

Prior to Nous, Yoshiki interned at various companies including as a strategy analyst at Publicis Australia, as an audit vacationer at Ernst & Young in their consumer products and Japanese Business Services divisions, and as a market and financial analyst at two Australian start-ups.

Yoshiki holds a Bachelor of Commerce (International) from the University of New South Wales, and studied for a Bachelor of Business Administration as an exchange scholar at the University of Hong Kong.

In his spare time...

Yoshiki is a keen globetrotter, having travelled to 18 countries, and an avid reader of finance non-fiction. He is also a former national-level archer, representing NSW multiple times in competitions.
