Yvette is an experienced senior consultant and project manager, having managed complex projects for clients at all levels of government as well as in the private and not-for-profit sectors. She has particular expertise in health, ageing and human services. Yvette’s work focuses on working with clients to undertake independent policy and program evaluations and reviews, strategic planning, policy development, stakeholder engagement, gap analysis and mapping.

Influential work

  • Managed a state-wide review of telehealth that culminated in providing policy advice about the future oversight of funding, implementation and the strategic direction for telehealth
  • Investigated reforms to mental health systems and estimated total expenditure on supporting people with a mental illness in Australia
  • Worked with a federal government agency to assess change readiness and culture to provide input into the change management strategy for a significant organisational transformation
  • Worked with a state government agency to support a major transformation, including through the development and implementation of a change management strategy and a communications plan
  • Worked with a major Australian crisis support non-government organisation to assist their branches to adapt to the organisation’s re-focused strategy and plan for a sustainable future.

Outside of Nous

Prior to joining Nous, Yvette was a doctor in the public health system in the Hunter New England area. Yvette holds a Bachelor of Science (Medicine)/Bachelor of Medicine/Bachelor of Surgery (First Class Honours) from the University of New South Wales. During her study, she volunteered as the medical student aid project coordinator helping to source and distribute medical supplies to developing countries and personally distributed supplies within Malawi and Tonga. Yvette was also awarded a John Flynn Scholarship through which she spent time in a remote Indigenous community on Bathurst Island.

In her spare time...

Yvette enjoys spending time catching up with family and friends, photographing the natural environment, experimenting in the kitchen, and travelling far and wide.
