Zac brings over 21 years’ business and consulting experience across a range of clients and continents. Clients voted Zac the ‘Most Client Focused Management Consultant’ in Australia in 2015 as part of the annual Australian Financial Review awards for professional services, and again nominated him in 2017 for the award. His broad expertise covers business strategy and organisational design, public policy, change management and digital strategy, and leadership development.
Influential work
- Led the award-winning organisational transformation of state-owned financial institution in Victoria, delivering a 20% organisation-wide financial improvement
- Led the business strategy advice for the organisational remodelling of a national disability service provider; including developing their current strategic plan, establishing their change program and advising on contemporary service design
- Ran a program that identified $20M in identifiable year-on-year financial savings for an Australian-based health and well-being conglomerate, and resulting in the financial turnaround of their private health insurance business
- Partnered with a state-owned work cover authority during its transformation, including facilitating the senior leadership change program to foster better change management skills
- Collaborated with Whitelion on Y4Y Youth Force, a program to help young people gain skills in entrepreneurship that was honoured with the 2020 Good Design Award in the category of Social Impact.
Outside of Nous
Zac has worked with corporations including Sky TV (UK) and KPMG. At Sky TV he assisted with the transition from analogue to digital TV. At KPMG, he started his professional career as an auditor but quickly moved to management consulting.
Zac holds a Master of Business Administration from Melbourne Business School and a Bachelor of Commerce from The University of Queensland. He is current secretary and coach for Maccabi Athletic and a former board member of Strange Fruit and Maccabi Victoria.
In his spare time...
Zac is a keen athlete and was a guide runner for the 2008 Beijing Paralympic Games. He enjoys playing with his young kids, hanging out with his partner, gardening and cooking.
